Utah Valley Magazine’s Olympic Ties

The 2012 London Olympics are now in full swing and we want to give a shout-out to Utah Olympian Kristin Richards. Kristin was one of our Local Teens Who Will Change the World back in 2003. She represented Timpanogos High School and was featured on our cover with two other star students (She is sitting on the ground with her arms crossed in the photo).
It has been almost 10 years and Kristin is now a member of the USA Olympic Volleyball team. Cheer her on in London and check out her stats here.
In 2001, Olympic champion wrestler Rulon Gardner appeared on our cover with his local lookalike.
