Have you ever had one these yummy treats at BYU? If you have — you’re going to love this event! If you haven’t — consider this your formal introduction to the cleverly-named maple bar. BYU’s Student Alumni Association is attempting to build the world’s largest cougar tail tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Garden Court. For a $1 donation, anyone can enjoy a five inch section and all proceeds will go to the Community Action Services and Food Bank. In the past, BYU has participated in a food drive competition with the University of Utah at this time of year. Due to conference realignments and the uncertainty with future game scheduling, the alumni association has selected this event as a way to raise funds to fight hunger in Utah Valley. The world record cougar tail will stretch a quarter of a mile! That’s a delicious sight to behold.
