Dave works as the art director for Bennett Communications and is kept busy laying out publications, websites, building ads and taking photos. Previous to joining the staff of Bennett Communications in Oct. 2003, he worked as a graphic designer for the Daily Herald in Provo. He has been a freelance designer since 1999 and continues to serve clients in off hours from home. He earned a graphic design degree from UVU after graduating from Timpview High School in Provo.

If he’s not hunkered in front of his giant computer screen, Dave can be found shooting chukars in the hills around Payson with his Weimaraner Max, rock climbing up Rock Canyon (his hardest climb was a Grade 5.11b) or fly fishing on the Provo River (longest brown trout caught was 25 inches). On warmer days he can be found at Gladstan Golf Course looking to lower his best score (which currently stands at 72).

Dave’s plans for the future include traveling to Alaska for fly fishing, traveling to Italy with his wife, flying to California for golf at Pebble Beach and spending many days looking for petroglyphs in southern Utah.

Dave lives in Payson with his wife of ten years, Heather, and their five-year-old daughter, Sabrina.
