Remedez HairSpa is one of 200 fastest growing salons in nation
Remedez HairSpa may cut hair, but it’s the growing that keeps getting national attention.
For the fourth consecutive year, Remedez was named one of the 200 fastest-growing salons in North America by Salon Today magazine. Remedez was the only Utah salon or day spa to be recognized on the 2009 list. The salon and spa, which has 35 employees, was chosen because of its 21 percent growth from 2006 to 2007.
Remedez HairSpa is owned by Tyler Gambill, Cynthia Gambill and Bernie Nielsen. “For Remedez to be recognized for a fourth consecutive year is such an honor,” Bernie says.
The magazine’s twelfth annual Salon Today 200 profiled the selected salons in its January 2009 issue. The 200 salons were selected from applications submitted by Salon Today readers, who represent the 25,000 top-producing salons and spas in the country. .
Remedez opened in 2002 in University Mall. Remedez co-brands with Aveda, which is known as the top beauty product line. In Utah Valley, Remedez is the only salon to receive the Aveda’s “Lifestyle” status — the highest level in the Aveda network.
“The key to our success is that we believe in constantly improving,” Tyler says. “Our goal is to be a great company, not just the ‘Best Beauty Salon and Day Spa.’”
Cynthia acknowledges the Utah County community. “Without their patronage, we wouldn’t enjoy this unprecedented success,” she says.
