The best play I’ve seen in Utah Valley was at BYU last year – Persuasion. It was great! I like Utah Valley Magazine and SCERA Center for the Arts on facebook – I’m Alice Demske Hansen there. (I hope I found the correct SCERA page on facebook – the one I found only had 3 likes and no information…) Thanks for the chance!

I always love Lehi High School plays. 2010 Aida was amazing. The music is awesome, the staging was excellent, the characters move you emotionally. I am always amazed by the quality of Lehi productions.

  3. A few years ago, I went to the Sundance Outdoor Theater to watch A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The actors did a great job, and I loved watching it because I had to perform in that play back in junior high. I also loved the improv comedy group that performed before the play, but I don’t remember the group’s name.

I loved Aida…The Hale did an amazing job with it a few years back and then we saw the Scera production at BYU at the end of the summer. We have such wonderful local talent.

Scarlet Pimpernel at the Hale Center theater in Orem. It was the last night they performed it and they had it down pat! Into the Fire gave me goosebumps :)

The Seussical at BYU because I got to see it with my sister. Also, watching the production with children is amazing. They ooo and ahhh and laugh in all the right parts. Brings out the child in you :) Love live performances! Nothing better!
