Art City Trolley is On Track to Feed Your Family

Eating OutSpringville favorite serves up 2 pages of signature salads plus finger lickin’ favorites

With summer upon us and the kids out of school, it’s time to scout out some great family restaurants. I set my sights on the Art City Trolley — located on Main Street in Springville — as a great restaurant for the whole family. Kids will love the look of the old trolley car, motorcycle decor and comfortable atmosphere.

The menu has a nice variety with finger-lickin’ buffalo wings, quesadillas, burgers, “Mother-Load” french fries and baby back ribs. Leave your diet at the door!

The other side of the Art City Trolley that was a delightful surprise to me is the two-page list of signature salads! Ah, this explained why there was a full room of women for lunch at the Trolley!

I chose “Danae’s Sweet Sensation” with romaine, grilled chicken, fresh blueberries, apples, candied almonds and dried cranberries. I really liked how dressings come on the side at Art Trolley so I can add the amount I want. This was a Vermont Maple Dressing, and the whole thing tasted like a dessert that was good for you!

My friend, Stefano Niccoli, was also having lunch at the Trolley that day, and he has dined there several times. He had the Buffalo Shrimp Salad and loves the combination of sweet and spicy in this salad with a touch of blue cheese. Stef told me the salads are always so fresh!

We both had the same observation regarding the size of the bowls for the salads … they’re just too small. The portions are large and there simply is not room in the bowl to toss your dressing and goodies without spilling it all over the tables. Next time, I’m simply going to ask for my “half-size” salad to be put in the “full size” bowl.

Another part of the restaurant is their “Trolley Market” where you can order large quantities of your favorite selections for your next family gathering — perfect for keeping life easy and enjoying the lazy days of summer.

Next time you’re looking for a good family restaurant for casual dining, think “Trolley!”

Remember to fill your life with scrumptious food and joy.

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I believe that you simply could do with some p.c. to pressure the message house a little bit, however other than that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
